5 Ways To Make Me Unfollow You

Twitter

(Re)Tweeting Quotes

I don’t mind a tweet or two from you quoting Ralph Marston, Mahatma Ghandi or Rev Run, but posting 30 quotes in just under 10 minutes is a bit too much. Twitterers like this are the reason I don’t follow Ralph Marston or Rev Run – I still get to read their tweets, without even following them. Also, please don’t post 30 song lyrics in just a few minutes.

Links without any explanation

I am sure the link you’ve just posted is interesting/great/informative/funny, but constantly posting links without any description or clue what it may be is another way to make me unfollow you.

Using Twitter as blog feed

If all your updates on Twitter profile are just automated posts from your blog feed, then I am sorry, but we can’t continue with our Twitter relationship – I will unfollow you.

Too Many Hashtags

#If #Your #Updates #Look #Like #This I will unfollow you.

Confusing Twitter with IM

Yes, we all exchange few replies with friends or family, but using Twitter as MSN Messenger is definitely a safe bet that I will unfollow you as soon as possible. Also, retweeting inside jokes is a big no in my book.
